INGREDIENTS
1 cup de-seeded dates
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 cup chopped nuts (mix of almonds, cashews, walnuts)
1/2 cup dessicated coconut (coconut powder)
2-3 tbsp sugar (if required, depending on the level of sugar one want)
METHOD
Remove the seed of dates and chop roughly. Put it in the food processor and blend well. Add nuts of your choice I added almonds, walnuts and cashews. Blend again. Add coconut and cocoa powder and pulse again.
Grease cake tin or plate and transfer on it. Smoothen it using back of spoon or spatula.
Keep in fridge to set for 30 minutes. Cut in desired shape and store in air-tight jar for 15 to 20 days.
Note:
1. If you find difficulty in blending dates, warm it in microwave or non-stick pan till smooth and blend immediately.
2. Before setting take a taste test if desired add sugar.
3. Don't over add cocoa powder else it will make it bitter.
